Social Publisher is a web-based social media management platform that enables content creators, businesses, and marketing professionals to schedule and publish video content across multiple social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads). This service is operated by Social Publisher ("we", "us", "our").

2. Data We Collect

Social Publisher collects and stores the following data:

  • Account information: email address and authentication credentials used to access the platform.
  • OAuth tokens for connected social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) to publish content on your behalf.
  • User profile data from connected platforms (such as display name and profile picture) to identify your accounts within the application.
  • Video files temporarily stored for upload to social media platforms.
  • Publication metadata such as titles, descriptions, and scheduled dates.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Authenticate your identity and provide access to the platform.
  • Connect with social media platforms via OAuth 2.0 on your behalf.
  • Upload and publish video content to your connected accounts.
  • Schedule publications at your requested times.
  • Display your connected accounts and publication history.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal data to any third parties. Your data is only transmitted to the social media platforms you explicitly connect (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) for the sole purpose of publishing content you have created and scheduled.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure (Supabase PostgreSQL and Supabase Storage) with encryption at rest and in transit. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in the database. Video files are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after publication according to configured retention policies.

7. Your Rights

As a user, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of any inaccurate personal data.

  • Disconnect any social media platform at any time, which will revoke our access to that platform.

8. Data Retention

OAuth tokens are retained as long as your account is active and the platform connection is maintained. Video files are retained temporarily for publishing purposes and deleted according to the configured retention period. Publication metadata is retained for your scheduling history. You may request full data deletion at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
